Athletic Posture

There is a universal posture that exists in all sports. Examples of this are a tennis player waiting for a serve; a baseball outfielder waiting on a fly ball; and a basketball player guarding an opponent. This universal posture is simply the most natural posture to allow your body to move in the most effective way.

5 Steps to perfect posture

1.Stand straight up with your feet shoulder-width apart.

2. Lock your knees, and then simply unlock them. This is the perfect amount of knee flex.

3. Stick your butt up, and your chest out.

4. Pump your heels, one at a time, to ensure your weight is on the balls of your feet.

5. Let your arms relax and hang naturally.

Work on your posture to make it athletic and comfortable, the posture simply sets up your body to perform its best. For more tips and instruction go to
